Bones Bourcier
Mark "Bones" Bourcier has covered American automobile racing since 1976 for a number of national publications, including Speedway Illustrated magazine, where he serves as editor-at-large.
Bourcier is a two-time winner of the "Miller Racing Award of Excellence," one of motorsports journalism's most coveted annual prizes, and a past recipient of the Eastern Motorsports Press Association's "Frank Blunk Memorial Award" for outstanding contribution to motorsports journalism.
He has co-written three acclaimed motorsports autobiographies, including "Racing Safely, Living Dangerously" with safety innovator Bill Simpson, "True Speed: My Racing Life" with NASCAR Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart, and "Bugsy!" with three-time NASCAR Modified Series champion Bugs Stevens. His most recent book is a biography of the late Richie Evans, a nine-time NASCAR Modified Series champion, and is titled simply "Richie!"
A Connecticut native, Bourcier now resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.
