All-American Driver Challenge
TRAINER FOR NBA, WNBA AND NFL PRO ATHLETES BECOMES STRENGTH & CONDITIONING PARTNER FOR "THE ALL-AMERICAN DRIVER CHALLENGE"

DENVER, NC (3/26/2007) - Phoenix Physical Therapy and Sports Performance (PPT&SP) of Denver, North Carolina, has signed on as the strength & conditioning partner for the All-American Driver Challenge (AADC) providing personalized athletic training for the AADC Champions and crew.

Lisa Ciaravella, owner of PPT&SP, will test each AADC Champion on their physical ability and develop a personalized strength and endurance training program that will enhance their performance on the track. The areas of training will include: reaction times, strength level, endurance, hand-eye coordination and explosive power.

"We're psyched to be involved with the Driver Challenge," said Ciaravella. "Most people don't understand what a physically demanding sport racing is. Holding the wheel and controlling a car for numerous laps takes a tremendous amount of energy and endurance and the training we provide will allow the Driver Challenge Champions to perform at optimal levels."

Ciaravella is a professional strength and conditioning specialist. In contrast to a personal trainer who is a fitness professional involved in developing and implementing and individualized exercise plan for the average person, a strength & conditioning specialist is specifically trained to deal with athletes in understanding how the body works under imposed demands and prepare them for the physical demands they will experience.

The PPT&SP facility is set up specifically for athletes - in fact, it's the exact design of the Houston Rockets weight room. Their 3,050-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility was custom-designed to create a professional, dynamic environment for physical therapy and sports training.

Phoenix Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, LLC offers top caliber physical therapy and sports performance programs from a state-of-the art wellness facility where athletes and clients of all ages and abilities may achieve their fullest potential. They focus on two core specialty areas - physical therapy and sports performance. Their experienced staff has years of experience in both arenas and approach them with a progressive, performance-based mindset. For more information about PPT&SP, visit their website at phoenixptsp.com or call 704.483.0777.

The All-American Driver Challenge is a driver search and competition that is geared toward fostering the best up-and-coming talent, ages 15-23, for a future career in a professional American racing series. AADC winners will be developed for the opportunity to advance to higher levels of racing including the USAC™ National Midget, Silver Crown™, Sprint and NASCAR® Late Model Weekly Racing Series. The All-American Driver Challenge is presented by Calico Coatings and sponsored by American Racing Academy, Racingschools.com, Unique Pizza and Subs, Simpson Race Products, The Joie of Seating, Mechanix Wear, Under X, K&N Filters and endorsed by USAC.
